makes a good birthday gift July 15, 2010 J.D. A popular item at our 5-year-old's birthday party. Good construction; setup/breakdown is a breeze, and inflation is quick (about 1 min). Food stains remove easily with dishwater. The feeder tube from the fan extends straight out the back (the opposite side of the slide), and adds significantly to the footprint, though that whole area needn't be kept clear. Fits in our basement: needs about 10x22 feet, which provides enough room to walk around it on 1 side, plus ample room off the end of the slide for kids to stand up. Tends to wander a bit when not staked down (i.e., inside), but it's easy to drag back. Has no problem with a light adult laying inside, but adult jumping would be unwise. Kids seem to love turning off the fan, letting it collapse on them, and then turning it on again. The popular use seems to be to enter through the side door, jump a bit, then barrel down the slide, and repeat. With lots of kids doing that, going up the slide would cause traffic, so I'm not seeing that the inconvenience of sealing up the side entrance (as others say they've done) is worth the marginal increase in safety. After several weeks, it's holding up well enough that I expect to make it a hand-me-down item.
Great Bounce House June 26, 2010 Diamondfish (Columbus, Ohio) We were planning on renting a bounce house for our son's birthday party and then came upon this one. When you look at the price of renting ($150ish) and then having to pay for any damage on an expensive bouncer it made a lot of sense just to buy (and then resell). The bounce house was VERY easy to set up and blew up very quickly. My 7 year old son is about 75 pounds which made me nervous about it collapsing, but it held up perfectly. We had him, my daughter (5 years old and about 40 lbs) and our niece (35 lbs) in there and it held up perfectly. It's a very sturdy house and the kids had a blast. The blower is a little noisy, but nothing more than I expected. This is probably small enough to fit in you basement in the winter time for the kids to use. Overall great product and would definitely recommend.
Great Bouncer! June 7, 2010 Maginations We bought this for our child's birthday party last spring. We drag it out all the time. Our son and his friends love it. My only complaint is the side door opening that is held shut by a couple of little strips of velcro. I fixed this issue by placing huge strips of velcro along the door edge. Now its much more difficult for the boys to get open. Problem solved.
happy mom June 5, 2010 K.S. (Idaho) This bounce house was exactly what I was looking for. Big enough to be outside, but small enough that it could fit into a large area in my home. The slide on it is a great bonus feature. It inflates so fast and the kids love it!
