Product Description For the repair of canvas, rubber & neoprene, most plastics, nylon, fiberglass, stainless steel, aluminum, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, non-oiled leather, and Sunbrella. This industrial strength repair patch kit is puncture-resistant and protects against moisture, saltwater, abrasion and UV sunlight as well extreme temperatures. I Have..a hole in my wet suit, a puncture in an inflatable, a tent with a tear in the nylon, a split in my neoprene seat covers, a torn awning, crack in my seat upholstery, and I don't want to spend a lot of money to repair my rip, or tear. Is there a cheaper alternative?? YES THERE IS! Tear-Repair is a very economical answer to not just temporarily fixing that hole that started when you got caught on some rocks or otherwise punctured your vehicle seat, boat seat, boat cover, windsurfing sail (or fiberglass sail board). You don't have to replace the entire item now, Tear-Aid see thru patch will repair the hole and stop the wind from making it bigger or shredding the materials. Each TEAR-AID repair patch has a matte finish and is made from an exceptionally tough, abrasion resistant, elastomer that resists puncture and tearing. It is combined with an aggressive adhesive formulated for high bond strength to a variety of surfaces such as: canvas, leather, rubber, nylon, most plastics, paints, aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene! MEETS MILITARY & ASTM STANDARDS & SPECIFICATIONS

Great sticky patching tape May 24, 2010 N. Graves This stuff works great on non-porous/non-textured material and pretty good on regular fabric as well. I used it to patch a section of 2in pool drain hose and used it to repair a small tear in our microfiber fabric couch. It performed fantastically on the hose and worked ok on the couch. I don't expect the couch repair to last very long before it will need to be redone.
Fan-freaking-tastic product! December 20, 2009 K. Broyles (Central Ohio) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I forget where I first heard about this product, but after I read reviews of it here and elsewhere, I decided to try it for repairing tears in our gazebo's canvas roof. This product has far exceeded my expectations. I have used it both to repair tears and to reinforce the seams where the hooks are sewn onto the canopy. It's held up through sun, heat and rain as well as cold. My husband and I are still surprised!
It is barely visible on the taupe canvas. Additionally, I used it to repair a badly worn and split leather seat in our van. The leather was worn paper thin in spots and we had to take drastic measure to make sure it didn't come apart. Again, this product is barely visible and it has held true in the heat of a closed vehicle when outside it was in the upper 90's. It's also held up in the cold.
This is a GREAT product. One caveat: You can buy it in larger dimensions and longer rolls on the manufacturer's website for MUCH less than you'll find it in this retail packaging. When I order more -- and I will, along with the formula for vinyl -- it'll be directly through the manufacturer.
Looked for. Found. Bought. Received. Applied. Happy. October 8, 2009 M. Oviedo (Philadelphia, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A tear in a motorcycle cover threatened to bring it apart. Searched on line for a way to fix it. I found this. Ordered it. After applying I haven't thought of it since. Meaning that it is doing its job perfectly.
When applying keep in mind that it is VERY sticky.
So far so good. Works great.
Works great! September 6, 2009 Murf (New York) We have pop up tent which tore due to high winds. I put the patch on as outlined in the instructions......four months later still holding just fine. Great product.
Best and only repair patch that worked for me August 19, 2009 J. Chiarelli (lindenhurst, ny United States) These patches when applied as directed work great! They are stick and wont come off so do apply with great care. They are waterproof and flexible. Saved my kids toy bouncer water slide..
